At Wildernis, we believe a healthy work environment starts with greenery. We supply and install plants and pots for companies, combining aesthetics with sustainability. This is how we help organizations achieve their sustainable business goals and create an inspiring workplace.
Our sustainable mission is fully integrated into our daily work. This allows us to remain competitive in the corporate greenery market: better for people and the environment, and competitively priced.
Sustainably grown indoor plants
But isn’t a plant always sustainable? It’s green and it grows, right?! That’s true, but many people don’t realize that most indoor plants are preventively sprayed with toxic substances against pests and that chemical fertilizers are used to grow the plants quickly.
The use of chemicals is bad for the environment outside, but in the case of houseplants, you’re also bringing those pesticides into your indoor space. Plants that have been grown quickly with chemical fertilizers can be compared to factory-farmed chickens. Such a “factory plant” isn’t happy or healthy and will have a harder time surviving in your home, being more susceptible to pests and diseases, and likely arriving at your place on exhausted soil.
That’s why Wildernis only works with houseplants that are grown as sustainably as possible. All plants in Wildernis projects come from growers with at least an MPS-A or A+ sustainability certificate.

Sustainable pots and accessories
Sustainable plants deserve sustainable and responsibly produced products. It is the mission of Wildernis to provide beautiful plants, pots, and accessories for our customers in the most sustainable way possible.
The circular pots and planters we use in our projects are made from 100% recycled and recyclable plastic, produced by a circular company under fair working conditions.
Circular entrepreneurship
We are actively committed to circular business operations. This means we work with reusable and recyclable materials, sustainable pots, and a logistics process in which waste is minimized. Our plants are carefully selected from growers who handle water, energy, and raw materials responsibly.

Organic outdoor plants and bulbs
By buying organic or pesticide-free garden plants and bulbs, you’re really helping bees, butterflies, and other insects!
Often in a garden center or supermarket, there’s a tag in the plant saying it’s good for butterflies and bees, but then the plant is covered in pesticides. You think you’re doing something good, but nothing could be further from the truth. So, it’s better to buy an organic plant or bulb; then you can be sure you’re doing the butterflies and bees a favor.

Every spring, summer, and autumn, Wildernis offers organic or pesticide-free outdoor plants in its shop. In the spring, these plants are a bit smaller than what you might be used to from large garden centers. This is because they aren’t grown in heated greenhouses but outside in the cold ground. This provides an environmental benefit because no heating is required for warm greenhouses, but the plants are also stronger and survive better in the spot where they are eventually planted—outside.
